This is a really great article from Cartesian Product! I love how incredibly complicated ‘sets’ get once you have more than 3 circles! π
Most of all I love the pictures

Math was not my best subject in school. Now that I think about it, I didn’t even have a best subject in school. I envy you your ability. I can sit and watch a Discovery or Science channel show about Quantum Physics, black holes, quasars, etc. and being enraptured and actually understand some of it. Ten minutes after the show is over, I couldn’t explain one iota of it.

Physics is like that… It makes perfect sense if a good teacher explains it (for example Professor Brian Cox, the particle physicist who I mentioned in my ‘giraffe’ posts) but in order to be able to explain it to others, you have to study it and understand why it makes sense. That takes an insane amount of brainpower, I am still overjoyed that I managed to complete my MSc and get a 2:1 without ever having done physics in school. It helps to have a mathematical brain, as maths is the language of physics, so if you can ‘read’ maths, you can ‘get’ physics

I absolutely agree. We are each born with a different bent toward, science or language or physical prowess, etc. Also, we are each blessed with different personalities. The trick is to blend it all together so we can relate to one another reasonably and socially without killing each other. A lot easier said than done unfortunately.
