A very beautifully coloured Peacock I think… would love some shoes in these colours! 🙂 I saw it just wandering along the grass verge in Addlestone & just had to stop and take some photos of him! (I presume he is a him as they are always so beautiful)
Can anyone tell me if it is a particular breed or just a teenager?
PS I’ve also displayed my meagre gallery of 3 photos as a mosaic. Planning a much bigger gallery once I get to play with my new landscape setting on my iPad
*Update* Have undone mosaic, it was bothering me. I prefer the thumbnails smaller!
I agree about the colour. Is it a male? I thought boy peacocks were the ones with the big flashy feathery tails.

I’m sure it probably is male, if you look in the photo where he is beside the car he has a more traditionally coloured feather showing, which makes me think he is probably a young male rather than a different model 🙂

Lovely photos and what a find! I would think you have there a mix blue & white peacock. I never knew white peacocks existed until I saw them in a really old painting in a gallery in Paris. It seems like your peacock is kinda half of each. How rare.

Nice photos. You should be proud as a pea…no, I just can go through with it.

This is a hybrid between Indian blue peacock and White peacock. They are called “payed” peacocks.
