The Challenge this week is to create a gallery of happy photos, or photos that make me happy! Taking photographs makes me happy & I love when they come out well, like the little bird I found on a wall in Chichester just waiting to be snapped. Others are of happy events like my graduation, wedding & honeymoon. I have just picked a few from my iPad rather than searching back in my archives, so most are very recent, and Wilson who doesn’t object to being featured on my blog on a regular basis plays a prominent role. We’ve been waiting on pins and needles until we could share the new gallery formats which were announced yesterday on the WordPress.com blog! So now that they’re out, let’s put them to good use! We’re going to have a multi-photo challenge!
Happy. I can’t believe we haven’t done this theme before! That alone makes me happy. But there are so many things which could make you happy, so why not group them together to multiply the happiness? Here are some images which make me happy: a sunny day, Mums for Mom, exercise, coffee (of course!), a Vespa by the sea, a popsicle, funny signs, and more coffee!

I do love that one, it gave me a feeling like it was my wedding day, it was amazing! All the more so because it took me 22 years to get there, and there were so many times in that 22 years I really thought I wouldn’t make it.
I also finally felt that I had honoured the huge commitment that my parents made to my education, and finally had made it worthwhile

I don’t like the galleries, it’s hard to get it to format the way I want it. I prefer slideshows, but I’m struggling to get my one to work on my current post (not yet published)
