Weekly Photo Challenge; Reflections

This is a theme I have played with before, but not for a photo Challenge

I would be interested on people’s thoughts on these two photos!

Reflections at Broadwater Lake, October 6th 2012

I took them at Broadwater lake, which is a very overgrown lake near our house in early October, before the leaves began to turn.  It would be nice to go back there now to see what it is like with golden leaves, but it was very muddy then, I expect it would be impassable now!

180 degrees

I know…. I was playing with it on my iPad initially & went to show my husband & really had to check which way was the right way up! That’s when I discovered the blueness of the water as a hint 🙂

This is what I meant when I critiqued your exquisite bridge photo a few posts back and said woodsy nature photographs most times don’t stand out because you can’t see the forest for the trees. Although very nice pics, the trees overwhelm themselves. But for those with a lesser critical photographers eye, seeing the beauty of a new place is always worth the effort!

I hadn’t noticed that. Got me.

By the way, has anyone else ever told you that you blogsite takes about 4 to 5 times as long to open up as others. I wonder why that is. Maybe, because the best is worth waiting for?
