We get a great variety of birds in our garden, here are some that came today

Thanks 🙂 I got a new camera for Christmas so am able to zoom right to the end of the garden now. Jay’s and Woodpeckers are shy so stay down the end of the garden, but the Parakeets are not at all!

The parakeets are incredible, they often turn and look straight at the camera. Ere is a little sparrow to the right of the photo waiting for his turn on the nuts. I think the parakeet is looking at me saying leave me alone, I’m not bullying honest! The little birds do get their turn though, and the parakeets and squirrels make such a mess when eating that there are lots of crumbs. We also have feeders that they can’t get into for the little birds, but they are very resourceful!

I am indeed. I’m not sure why the photos are displaying small on this page. WordPress was acting up when I loaded them. I have some even better ones of the Woodpecker from today! 🙂

Thank you. The Jays are normally very shy and are hard to photograph, as they don’t come near the house, but this one stayed still long enough for me to capture him. Normally they are chubbier than this so I am hoping that this s a young one as opposed to hungry
We get lots & lots of tiny birds too. I will try & post pictures of them soon
