I am rarely up at dawn, but in winter it is a little easier for me!!
I this photo as the sun rose one morning on Langstone Village as we were waiting for our boat to be lifted out of the water
Well worth being up for!!
Thank you to Donna for this challenge 🙂
I took a deep breath to help soak in the atmosphere. So calm and energising!

It is such a lovely view, so peaceful especially at that hour of the morning when the nearby road is quiet

Why is winter easier to wake up? It’s so cold I bet I would just stay warm and snug in bed, no? But yes, very peaceful scene that you took. What a privilege to experience virtually a quiet and serene dawn in a scenic spot like that. ^__^

In winter (here anyway) dawn is several hours later! In summer it can be as early as 4am but at this time of the year it is closer to 7 and still has another month to go before it starts to get earlier again! I agree cold doesn’t help, but we have quite a temperate (or should I say temperamental) climate, so sometimes in winter it can be quite warm! Other times it can be freezing and dark and wet and horrid 🙂

temperamental… why does that make me think of global warming… but I’m glad it wasn’t freezing for you ^___^

Not then, but it has started now!
I’m not sure it can be called global warming!! Maybe ‘Climate Change?’ It certainly doesn’t feel any warmer today!!
