I love reflections 🙂 I’m always taking photos over water especially when it’s still. When we were in New Zealand we went to visit Milford Sound, and one of the attractions on the way to the Sound (which is actually a Fjord) is ‘Mirror Lakes’
The water was not very still that day, it was windy, and there were lots of ducks on the lake, but I did capture a few photos of the reflections in the lake. They show the beautiful mountains behind, and interesting debris and algae growing at the bottom of the lake!
This is my second entry for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge; Reflections. The first was from our very own Mirror Lakes round the corner from our house. We don’t have the mountainous backdrop, but lovely reflections all the same!

Yes, the water was crystal clear, we could see big fish swimming around, and really interesting gooey cloud like stuff in the water!

Nice take on Reflections! We don’t have any mountains where I live in the Midwest (US), but where I used to live (in Utah), there were mountains all over the place, being on the western edge of the Rocky Mountains.
As for me, I just happened to take a bunch of reflection photos Thursday (what a coincidence that it would the this week’s theme!) and you’re welcome to come and see what my take on the challenge is.

You do reflections well. I remember one you posted that I couldn’t tell which way was up.

I was going to do that with the last lot, but then i got confused which were which & so in the end went with the right ways up ones! These lakes weren’t ripple free so upside down ones didn’t work 😦
