Though I have been to Hawaii twice, I never got the chance to visit the volcano on the big island. I have however, been to Yellowstone National Park,which is the largest caldera in the world. If it ever blows again (I think the last was 60,000 years ago) it will be an extinction event..
They are expecting that Yellowstone will blow again aren’t they! You’d think they would have worked out how to build pressure release valves into these things by now wouldn’t you. Slightly more important than wars & space missions!

They are expecting that Yellowstone will blow again aren’t they! You’d think they would have worked out how to build pressure release valves into these things by now wouldn’t you. Slightly more important than wars & space missions!
