      Lol

      Well, in a way yes!

Because Peter takes him gardening every day he spends hours in undergrowth & shrubbery every day & so collects a multitude of seeds, leaves, mud & general undergrowth in his fur. Peter then takes him swimming in the river to wash him off, so his fur gets completely matted! We usually manage to brush him out a good bit, but his ears had got badly matted & the ‘stylist (?)‘ said it would be best to shave his ears & start again!

He would have looked very silly with short ears & long everywhere else, so hence the last cut of the year 🙂 He normally has about 3 haircuts a year which are this short, but with his ears trimmed too he does look very shorn!

He does not look like a Wilson but more like a Wilma! Poor fellow. Has he seen himself in a mirror?

He is on the verge of looking like this again, once the temperatures start in double figures he will start being too hot all the time & will spend his time trying to find places in which to wallow. At the moment he looks more like a mop
