Wilson is very hard to photograph… he is usually moving far too quickly, or he blends in with the background. Nevertheless I persevere, and occasionally in the hundreds of photos of a black blur just leaving the corner of the photo, or a pink tongue in a dark corner, I come across one I am happy with.
This weekend we took Wilson to Chobham Common & he had a great time bouncing in and out of the heather. I managed to capture this picture for this week’s Pet Challenge while he was waiting for someone to throw his stick!

Aren’t you afraid that if you keep posting these, Wilson will be “discovered” and leave you for the fame of Hollywood?

Luckily, we are his legal guardians, so if he gets to Hollywood we will need to accompany him. It would be difficult for us, but we would be willing to sacrifice our wet winters here, if it was important for his career

Wilson looks like he had his hair “done,” Barbara. I mean that cute little tuff over his forehead.

Lol, we cut his hair ‘backwards for a spaniel… he should look like this:
He tells us he likes the beard, moustache and fringe! We like that he doesn’t absorb so much water with his legs & body having shorter hair, so we grow his facial hair instead!

I think Wilson looks way more dignified than that pooch!

He will be very pleased to hear that! At least he has his own personality 🙂 if he was cut like that he would come home after every walk with tonnes of water and mud in his fur!

🙂 He has a very “I am my own dog” look. My Shetland Sheepdogs used to get snowballs stuck to their bellies and drip all over the house as they melted haha. I’m all for short belly fur!

That happened to Wilson the first year we got him! One of the main reasons we started cutting his hair short!

Does Wilson give interviews or sign paw-tographs? He is one handsome dog!

He does paw-tographs all the time… just leave an important piece of paper on the floor for a millisecond & he is bound to sign it!!
