Yesterday a friend of mine posted some lovely photos of a walk in Windsor Great Park with his dog and I giggled as there wasn’t any dog in the photo.

Wilson’s pet Scuppy after his bath
Wilson has a pet too. He sleeps with him & carries him around the place when he wants to look super cute. After dinner every day Wilson goes to find ‘Scuppy’ & brings him into whichever room we are in. Sometimes Scuppy needs a good wash! Here he is drying off after his bath.

As Michelle says in the Weekly Photo challenge, having a dog does indeed mean going for walks daily, often more than once a day. Where the habit comes in for us is where we chose to go for our walks. Just before we got Wilson we decided to get married at a little church on the top of a hill in Guildford, and as a result, our habitual walks on Sundays for the first few months after Wilson arrived were up to the top of St Martha’s Hill.

I am way behind with posting at the moment, and when I get this far behind it is hard to know where to start!! I have lots and lots of photos to post, but picking just one to move forward with is sometimes really hard!
This one stood out for me. I had edited it a bit with my camera’s software, and it has a ‘painting like’ look about it. I took it during our recent trip around Hayling Island to bring the boat ashore just before the winter sets in.

I know I’m a bit late for this week’s Photo Challenge. I’m running a month late on most things at the moment so a few days past the deadline is good for me!
