Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape this rain!

Today doesn’t feel like summer at all!

My daughter is having a sleepover in the garden tonight, but it has hardly stopped raining today so far.  I’m not sure should I put the tent up now in the rain or hope that it dries up later?

I need some cheering up as I look out at my wet garden, so here’s another photo from my India collection relating to this week’s  Weekly Photo Challenge, Escape

Marvellous photo!!! … I think you should put up the tent inside her room … 😉 – I used to do that with my girls when they were small – and when the weather was bad..

A good plan… except that her room is tiny, and there are 10 of therm!! I don’t think we have any room big enough!

Hm – “Huston we got a problem” – One big madras in her room? Making it as an fairytale room? If her room is that tiny they will all love to be there if its like a fairytale I am sure. I did have 40 people in my apartment on 72 sqaremeters for sleepover and party 😉

Huston we most definitely have a problem!

To fit in her room they would have to sleep 3 deep!!

Will be getting them to lie down as they arrive to test how much floor space they take up!

I was going to have to do that anyway, but now they’re sleeping indoors, it’s too cold and wet! I had to do a Nana, dinner for 15 cold and hungry teenagers (that did include me and Peter!) breakfast is sorted, crumpets, cereal & toast, and lunch is sandwiches.. I have the orders written down!

  5. It’s cold and wet weather here in NYC. The forecast is for more of the same throughout the 3 day holiday weekend.

I just got home and put on my flannel pajamas (it is really that cold today!) and thought I’d browse some more photo challenge entries. I’m so happy I landed on your blog. It has offered me an escape. Thank you.

I’m going to link to this post; perhaps others need this type of escape.

Thank you :). What is happening with our weather? I had to have the heating on today! W should be sunbathing in the garden. We hardly got any good weather last summer and this summer is looking the same! I don’t think I can stand (or afford) much more cold weather!!
Hope it clears up for you guys soon xxx

Thankfully the sun came out today, but we had to do the sleepover indoors!

    Can anyone spot Wilson?
