     Their crests are wonderful aren’t they! They do the most beautiful mating dances. I missed them the year, hope the spring is a bit warmer next year!!

   Hi Barbara. I have been remiss and delinquent on the blogosphere! We had our granddaughters here for a while and they just went home today. Sniff, sniff.

   Love the picture. Who knew these birds would be right in style with the spiked hair! Way ahead of their time.
