Always a sucker for any opportunity to post photos of Wilson, here are the photos we took of him the first time we met him!
Love at first lick, 22nd October 2010
We went to the RSPCA in Hillingdon to look at another dog that needed rehousing, but then we saw Wilson it was love at first sight.

He was not up for adoption since his leg had been broken a few times and the RSPCA were not willing to let anyone adopt him until they knew his leg was healing, so we had two long weeks to wait until we were allowed bring him home
Don’t leave me here Daddy!! Take me home!!
In the meantime we were vetted by the RSPCA and our house visited to ensure it was safe for a dog. Photos of Wilson’s first day at our house next week…. Unless Michelle has a particular pet theme she wants us to cover 🙂
Day One 
“Love at first sight” that is so wonderful, very similar to how we got our little kitten – it was also love at first sight. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely photos of Wilson and for taking part. 🙂 It would be lovely to see many more pictures of Wilson in weeks to come.

Completely 🙂 We had to leave him there for two whole weeks, I think this was our second visit… we did NOT want to go home without him! And he snuggled right into Peter as if he knew we would look after him properly

Looking forward to more star turns for Wilson. I meant to ask…do you groom him or does he shed?

Indeed she should! Plus the elusive time travelling Lilly…. she only exists in universes within which Wilson doesn’t 🙂 She is MUCH harder to photograph!

I forgot to answer the first bit…. Wilson has very regular hair cuts! His natural hair length is very long, and he doesn’t enjoy us grooming him so we have a lot cut off every 3 months. If his hair is long & it snows he gets ‘snow bobbles’ which are very uncomfortable for him!
