Here is a photo from my recent visit to Dublin that I wasn’t expecting to be sharing so soon! As I mentioned in my post for the photo challenge ‘Fleeting‘ I visited The Botanical Gardens in Glasnevin, with Dad on my last day. He loves this sculpture and insisted I take a photo of it.
The sun was very bright that day and also there were two gardeners sunbathing on the grass directly in line with the sculpture, so it didn’t photograph well, but it does fit perfectly into this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge ‘Curves’
I love that sculpture by Bob Quinn. I wrote about it in April 2012. It took me months of searching, but finally I discovered the title and the story behind it. You can read about the back ground here: http://www.grannymar.com/blog/2012/04/22/best-night-ever/
