Weekly Photo Challenge: From Above

I haven’t participated in the Weekly Photo Challenge for some time, I’ve been busy getting better, and I found the prompts a bit uninspiring, although I could have posted lots of pictures for the challenge ‘Culture’

The sun has finally come out here in London, and as a result I have been out playing with my camera in the garden.  Yesterday I was standing by the pond and happened to see one of Charlotte’s fish swimming near the surface, and managed to capture it ‘From Above’ (Although without an underwater camera there isn’t really another way to photograph fish!)

Charlotte got 5 tiny Koi Carp for her birthday about 10 years ago. They were about 4cm long and smaller than our goldfish.  She picked ones with distinctive markings so that their development was easy to see.  One of the fish is black, so we can only see him when he swims over other coloured fish.  I don’t think I could capture him on film even in good light.

This fish is over 1 foot long now (30cm) hard to believe he was so small when he arrived!

That is excellent. Now I want to know what is the difference between a fish and a piano?

      Thank you!!!

      You can’t tuna fish

You didn’t deserve that though, Al did. I’m quite convinced him and dad are twins separated at birth…. Have you checked out his blog? Maybe you could cast a sisterly glance in his direction? Apart from Al being a capitalist and claiming to have been born in June 1943 they are eerily similar!
