At about 11pm on this day 16 years ago, I turned to my husband and said, I think this baby might be on time.
Our first daughter was 10 days late and took 33 hours to arrive, not so with this baby!
17 minutes after we arrived at the hospital, there she was, our beautiful daughter, on her due date with 10 minutes to spare!
Hard to believe she is 16 already and finishing secondary school in just a few days time!
Happy birthday to your daughter, I remember those moments.

My first turned 19 last week, I’ve been asking myself the same question, she got her license, goes out drinking, she is becoming so grown up.

And still at times they can be little girls :). There are times when I still want my mummy….

I love that photo. You blink and she turns into a beautiful young woman. It seems like yesterday since she learned to use internet chat with me as we wrote little stories together – we each added one word at a time. Do you think she remembers?
I hope she had a very sweet sixteenth birthday!

She remembers!!!
She had a great birthday despite being right in the middle of her GCSE’s and having an exam yesterday! Last day at school on Friday, though there are a few more exams left after half term

Happy Birthday mom and daughter. Okay, gotta ask.. is your first born a procrastinator and your second a timely child? My first was 2 weeks late and basically forced out of the womb and to this day he waits to the very last minute to do everything and is pretty much indifferent to most things, and my youngest, the one that too was born spot on to her due date is diligent, timely and a people pleaser! 🙂

Almost the opposite, my first is a morning person, and like your daughter, a perfectionist, always on time, always where she is supposed to be. My youngest takes her time, she sleeps late, takes forever t get ready, is regularly late for school, and will miss something if she can get away with it.
Saying a she is also dedicated and determined and when she sets her mind on something she will achieve it… Wild horses wouldn’t stop her!
