A very big Rabbit!
We were out walking with Wilson at the weekend and we came across this:
A VERY big rabbit that didn’t run!!
Wilson who normally Loves chasing rabbits, squirrels and pheasants took a bit of time over this one, and eventually he ran towards him, but only as far as the edge of the puddle that separated them! Maybe having spent the afternoon running in and out of the ice cold sea he didn’t feel like getting his toes wet?

California Quail
When we first saw these birds in Australia we thought they had got leaves caught in their heads like Wilson does when he roots around in bushes
It was only when we saw lots of them that we realised that their fabulous headgear was there by design!

Myrtle and a Strawberry
I’m running a bit late with my challenges this week, I’ve been busy, and so has Myrtle! She even spent a few days in the garden, although we had to take her in again as it has been colder and wetter these last few days
As a treat I gave her a strawberry!
