I have been blogging for just over one year now (I started on the 21st of July last year) and have published 238 posts! Since I installed the flag counter I have been visited by people from 100 different countries!
I was so excited to see this I thought I’d check how many countries there are…. according to ‘Flag Counter‘ there are 241, so I haven’t even reached half way around the world yet!
According to my statistics page I have had 31, 403 views and 3,153 comments (mainly by auntie Marie & my long-lost uncle Al) and even though my ‘follow me’ button says I have 834 followers, my actual WordPress followers are 362. The rest are facebook friends and twitter followers who get notifications of my posts on their live feeds, which is not the same as following!
I like looking at my statistics pages, especially when I have had lots of visits, but it’s a bit depressing when I haven’t posted for a while! The weirdest of all of the stats though are the search engine terms…. what people look for that leads them to my pages

Day One 
Great pictures of Wilson. When he is groomed out he is show dog quality! Bella is sitting here with me and making strange whining noises. It almost sounds like “I want a meet-up” but I can’t be sure.

We think that he might be a show spaniel. We got him from the RSPCA, a shelter for animals, and they did not have his pedigree but he looks very like a show spaniel, when he is brushed.
The problem is, as you can see from some of his photos, that he loves water more than anything, and the muddier it is the better. It is SO hard to keep him clean when his hair is long we now keep it quite short. Also in summer he gets far far too hot if his coat is long!
He doesn’t enjoy being groomed, so he would hate being a show dog!!

Wilson loves when other dogs like the water 🙂 does Buffy like chasing birds across stinking estuary mud? The smellier the better!!
