This is an easy one!
In case you are wondering why Wilson is wearing a coat in 27° (80°F) heat, it’s a ‘cool coat’, made from chamois leather. You wet it, wring it out & it keeps him from overheating no matter how much ball chasing he does!

Sorry I’m late Ailsa!
That coat is a great idea. I know a few humans that would like one.

It’s ideal for him. We saw someone with one earlier in the summer & had been on the lookout for them. We were using old towels but could not get them to stay on him! The problem is, when he gets too hot he heads straight for water, and the muddier & smellier the better (it sticks better) With this coat we have saved ourselves many Wilson baths, which surprisingly he doesn’t enjoy!!

Once again I learn something new. Cool coat. The tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth is hilarious. He is soooo proud of that ball. Neat shot, Barbara.

It’s so hard to photograph him with a stick or a ball (ball is a round version of stick, better for girls, less likely to hit passing boaters) as once he sees you are looking at him he tries to give you the ball :). I think I had to wipe Wilson off my lens several times before getting this shot!!
